Giveaways
Every giveaway we run, the public random value committed to decide it, and a way to check each draw for yourself.
We name the exact drand round that will decide a giveaway when we create it, before entries close and while that round still does not exist. When entries close we publish the full entrant list and its fingerprint. Because the list is fixed before the randomness exists, and the randomness cannot be influenced by anyone, the result cannot be steered towards or away from anybody. After each draw we publish everything needed to recompute the result.
Drawn
Each finished giveaway names the drand round and publishes the entrant fingerprint. Open the verifier, or fetch the round from a public relay, and you get the same answer. Screenshots are what winners send after they redeem.
How to check this yourself
Randomness is drand quicknet round 31621212, which was named publicly before entries closed and did not exist at that time. The proof file has the signature, the entrant list, the seed derivation and the full ranked result. Upload it on the verifier, or recompute it yourself, and you get the same answer. Nobody, including our staff, could have influenced the outcome.
